Get the Ghostrider or Captain America Bike Look

With the popularity of classic movies like Easyrider and the new release of Ghostrider, rider interest in finding ways to achieve a similar look has swelled. Those long upswept pipes with bell tips reach right up to car window height to let passersby know you're there both visually and acoustically. Getting one step closer to this look is simple when you start with the exhaust.

Paughco(r) has been making pipes since '69 and in fact even produces a full hard tail replica of the Captain America bike ridden by Peter Fonda in Easyrider. For as long as one can remember, such pipes were only intended for the renegades willing to sacrifice their spines by building and riding hardtail bikes with little to no suspension to speak of.

Now Paughco is offering the upswept pipes with a choice of mufflers for Twin Cam Softail(r) models in different muffler lengths and tips, including bell and fishtail tips in a bright chrome finish. You'll want to consider whether you will need to relocate your right rear turn signal, if you even have them, depending upon the length and upsweep you have in your pipes. Also be sure to get the right support brackets for your model. Many of the sets offered by Paughco come with the brackets.

Check out these pipes at Do Be(tm) and be sure to call or email if you have any questions, particularly whether they offer fitment for your specific bike model and year.

Safe ridin'!
